Special Target Capture Weapon:

The Special Target Capture Weapon is a tool that is developed by the Survey Corps for the sole purpose to capture specific Titans.

Design:

Each barrel has seven steel tubes, each of which has coiled wires with arrowheads at both ends. Due to 6 barrels being deployed in a normal set it only takes a few stacks to stop even a fifteen meter class from moving and only 5 or 6 stacks to make it completely immobilized.

Uses:

So far this tool has been deployed in order to apprehend and immobilize the Female Titan inside the Froest of Giant Trees, during the Female Titan story arc. However, the controller inside was able to escape in their human form.

It was again used during the battle between the Rouge Titan and the Female Titan in Stohess District, Wall Sina; but in this case, too few were used, and the Female Titan was not immobilised, and as such, escaped.
